According to research by Reveal Marketing, 67% of Romanians believe AI is useful, a sentiment shared by more than half of those who have never tried it. Currently, 47% of the population uses AI regularly, with adoption highest among women (51%) and young adults aged 18–24 (70%).

Among users, 83% say AI benefits daily life. Most interact with it via written messages (66%), while others use voice commands (15%) or both (19%).

Top uses include:

• Searching for general information (73%), especially among over-45s (87%)
• Education and learning (45%), more common among under-35s (53%)
• Entertainment (37%), workplace support (31%), and personal planning (19%)

AI also influences consumer behavior: 8 in 10 users research brands or products with its help, and 6 in 10 use it for purchase decisions—particularly men (66%) and younger users (64%).

“The fact that even non-users recognize the benefits of this technology shows its enormous potential to influence both personal and professional decisions,” said Marius Luican, CEO of Reveal Marketing Research.
