Yet, this is not a new issue: information has long been influenced by social, political, and economic factors. The advent of AI makes these challenges more visible, amplifying existing biases or creating new ones. This compels the profession to rethink its practices, strengthen its ethical standards, and examine how information is produced, verified, and disseminated to the public.
