Bio
Ruxandra Hurezean graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Cluj-Napoca, specializing in Sociology. She has been working in journalism for over 30 years, focusing primarily on social reportage. She has led editorial teams and helped establish several publications, contributing to both local and national media. Going beyond the fleeting nature of daily news, she is the author of five volumes of reportage and short fiction. She has been repeatedly awarded by the Cluj Association of Media Professionals and received the "Mass Media Award" from the German Embassy in Bucharest for her reporting on the history and present-day life of Romania’s German minority.
