Most jobs were offered by Romanian companies (93%), while foreign employers contributed 7.2% of the total. Retail is at the top of the list, with almost 50,000 positions available, thanks to constant expansion plans, regardless of the economic context. Services follow (27,000 jobs), as do call center/BPO and the food industry (22,000). Other sectors had over 15,000 offers and include transportation, logistics, manufacturing, tourism, construction and finance-banking.

July saw the highest number of job openings, at around 25,000, compared to a monthly average of 20,000. In total, the 200,000 jobs attracted almost 8 million applications, with early-career candidates being the most active, followed by candidates with medium experience and young people without experience.

Remote jobs have fallen to just 4% of the total, the lowest level in years. Employers are increasingly shifting to office-based work, and candidates are seeking stability through full-time jobs.
