Empowering young people

YMCA Europe is a dynamic network that connects and strengthens YMCAs across the continent, advocating for their collective interests and impact. Its mission is to foster collaboration, empower communities, and drive positive change through shared initiatives. Key priorities include promoting digital equity and access for young people, developing resilient young leaders who can drive their communities forward, and ensuring youth participation in democratic processes through stakeholder engagement, decision-making involvement, and the promotion of pluralism.

Contribution to consortium

YMCA Europe connects PulseZ with young people across the continent, leveraging its network to amplify youth voices and foster meaningful engagement. By managing the PulseZ social media community, YMCA fosters an inclusive digital space where young creators can connect, collaborate, and share their perspectives. Beyond online engagement, YMCA organises 10 local events that bring PulseZ participants together, offering opportunities to meet in person, exchange ideas, and co-create content. These initiatives strengthen community bonds and encourage collaboration, while also equipping young people with essential skills and empowering them to speak up on issues that matter. Through this role, YMCA promotes active youth participation, ensuring that young voices are heard across Europe.
