The European Youth Parliament France is an association promoting citizenship education, run by and for young people. Organised as a network, we offer a variety of activities enabling 15-25 year olds to experience active citizenship through meetings, expression and debate, while opening up to Europe through intercultural exchanges.

The PEJ-France’s parliamentary simulation sessions, which are one of the association’s long-standing activities, bring together delegations of secondary school students for several days of knowledge sharing and democratic debate on current European issues. Participants, guided by debate facilitators, learn to collaborate towards finding solutions together in a supportive, inclusive and challenging atmosphere.

Before each session, the debate facilitators, known as ‘chairs’, write Topics Overviews for participants to provide a comprehensive and accessible introduction to the debate topic. Come and discover the Topic Overview of the AFET Committee for the PEJ – France national session in Paris 2025!
