ADB – EurActiv Romania
Stay informed inside EU
Writing about European landscape at highest standards of ethics, relevance and reliability.
Established in 2004, EurActiv Romania has been a significant presence in monitoring and reporting on European policies in Romania. As part of the Euractiv Media Network, present in 13 countries, it has consistently produced quality editorial content and participated in communication and advocacy projects, notably in EU financed awareness campaigns. Its media output includes daily content on euractiv.ro, TheCapitals correspondence, parlamentor.ro (youth platform), and report.md (Republic of Moldova).
We provide added value to the ‘Brussels perspective’ on EU news and policy debates with national angles and coverage localised to the interests and needs of our readers wherever they are in Europe.

Contribution to consortium
ADB’s unique structure blends civil society, academia, and media, focusing on bridging information gaps across generations, professionals, and policymakers. Youth engagement is a priority, evidenced by projects like eduVote (European Parliament-funded) and eduCivica, supported by the SEE Grants 2014-2021.
We align our strategy with the vision of the PulseZ Consortium partners and aim to contribute to fulfilling the mission of the project. Our thinking is structured on two main pillars: content creation and content creators.
We will contribute with specific local topics, will work with media outlets who are targeting GenZ (GenȘtiri) and curate, select and publish relevant content from youth dedicated channels.
We will identify mentors and professional journalists who can form aspiring young content creators and will promote and organise training sessions on constructive and solutions journalism.
We will launch the #Good Writing & Reporting initiative ”BineScris” based on building key partnerships with universities, high schools, libraries, media (PressHub) to get closer to people through independent and modern youth journalism.
The initiative for writing aims to be grassroots, collaborative, and educational. Together with partners, we will help young people to realise their potential, to produce high-quality content based on ethical standards, social responsibility, and modern methods in journalism.
Our mission
The initiative aims to encourage young people, like high-school and University students, to responsibly produce (good) content based on their day-to-day activities in research, social sciences, history, areas of activities and/or hobbies. The potential themes will be available on the platform Binescris.ro and on a dedicated page on euractiv.ro.
