EURACTIV.pl operates in the European Union thematic sector, carrying out journalistic and communication projects that explore and promote key EU issues. With years of experience and in-depth knowledge of EU affairs, we provide free access to reliable and accurate information about the European Union, reflecting our belief that EU knowledge should be accessible to all. While we are one of the few highly specialised institutions in Poland, EU-related topics remain niche. Therefore, the EURACTIV.pl project is a mission-driven initiative and an expression of media responsibility for expanding public knowledge, ensuring fact-based, high-quality journalism and providing reliable information to citizens, students, experts, policymakers, and business representatives.

Contribution to consortium

EURACTIV.pl brings its extensive experience as a leading medium in international policy and unique know-how in European communication and analysis to the project. As a media partner, EURACTIV.pl will be involved in:

Training and mentoring – supporting the training programme by involving experienced journalists as trainers and mentors for young content creators.

Content production and distribution – co-creating and publishing articles, interviews, commentaries, and multimedia content produced by young journalists and programme participants.

Content editing and selection – selecting the best materials for publication on the Pulse Z Content Hub and adapting them for international distribution.

Journalistic quality and standards – ensuring that published content adheres to journalistic ethics and maintaining high quality throughout.

Communication strategy and promotion – assisting in the development of communication strategies, running promotional campaigns, and engaging media partners and social media channels to reach a broad audience.

Technical support and UX – contributing to user needs analysis, testing platform functionality, and optimising user experience (UX).

With its expertise in international policy, EURACTIV.pl will play a key role in ensuring the production of high-quality content and its wide distribution while also supporting the development of young journalists and media creators across Europe.

Our mission

For EURACTIV.pl, this project represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of Europe by taking responsibility for future generations. We are committed to spreading reliable, well-researched information about the world and ensuring that young people are equipped with the skills to engage in the critical discourse shaping Europe's future.
Through this initiative, we aim to combat disinformation by delivering high-quality, verified content that fosters informed decision-making. We are dedicated to empowering the next generation of journalists by introducing them to the intricacies of journalistic work, helping them develop the skills necessary to navigate and contribute to the evolving media landscape.

At the same time, we see this project as a chance to bring the European Union closer to young people, for whom it often feels distant or abstract. By highlighting EU values and policies — so central to our work — we aim to strengthen their engagement in European affairs and encourage active participation in shaping their own future.
