They set boundaries. They don\u2019t want everything to be faster or more optimised. They want friction \u2014 because that\u2019s where real growth happens.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>AI comments everywhere \u2014 and the risk of losing human voice\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teleanu says one of the strangest online trends is happening on LinkedIn, where many users rely on generative AI to write comments or replies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI instantly recognise AI-written comments. And they\u2019re not made by bots \u2014 they\u2019re made by people letting AI speak for them.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The problem, she explains, isn\u2019t the tool \u2014 it\u2019s giving up your own voice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIf I stop talking to you and start talking to what a system writes for you, the essence of communication disappears.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Europe vs. the U.S.: Two digital cultures, two different mindsets<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a recent trip to San Francisco \u2014 the capital of global tech \u2014 Teleanu noticed a clear contrast between the two sides of the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the U.S., technology feels like a constant race: pitching, optimising, scaling, accelerating.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIf you\u2019re not in tech, you almost feel like you don\u2019t belong. Everything is uniform, everyone is selling something. It\u2019s a bit dystopian.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, Europe remains more human-centred: \u201cEuropeans still ask questions: What\u2019s ethical? How do we protect people? What happens to our data? There\u2019s still a social and philosophical layer.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>A gap in education \u2014 and why universities can\u2019t keep up\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teleanu points out that formal education has fallen behind the pace of innovation.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Curricula change slowly; technology changes weekly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe academic world is always one step behind \u2014 sometimes ten. Students realised that to work in tech, it\u2019s better to learn directly from people already in the industry.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Romania, she says, this gap has been even more visible. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She founded a design school to cover exactly this need \u2014 and it filled up quickly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibility, AI literacy, and the role of experts\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Teleanu, responsibility doesn\u2019t start with institutions \u2014 it starts with individuals and communities who teach, share, and help others adapt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cStates need to adapt fast. We need AI literacy. We need people to understand what they use and why.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But many countries \u2014 even the U.S. \u2014 are still far behind.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Gen Z: more responsible, more aware, less impressed by hype\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teleanu\u2019s biggest insight is also the most hopeful one:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cGen Z uses AI more responsibly than we do. They\u2019re not impressed by everything being 10x faster. They want meaning. They want balance.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They\u2019ve grown up surrounded by technology, and precisely because of that, they set limits early. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They ask what technology does to them \u2014 not only what it does for them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThey face a bigger digital danger than we did, and they know it. That\u2019s why they put up boundaries. And that\u2019s healthy.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>A career built on design, ethics, and community\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With over 15 years in multinational tech companies and roles at UiPath and Miro, Teleanu has helped shape major AI-driven products \u2014 including Clipboard AI, named <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Time Magazine\u2019s Best Invention of 2023<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, she\u2019s a consultant and the creator of Uxgoodies, a global community where thousands learn about design and AI.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI wanted to make people in tech feel less alone. That\u2019s what community is for.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The future? Messy, fast \u2014 but not hopeless\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite the uncertainty, Teleanu believes Gen Z brings something essential to the table: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a sense of responsibility and a refusal to be overwhelmed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTechnology can be overwhelming. They know that. And they draw the line.
