Wie ein Europaabgeordneter das Dilemma junger Rum\u00e4nen anspricht"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Vlad Voiculescu, a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from USR\/Renew, encourages them to stay and build a future at home, saying Romania needs individuals who can \u201cstand on their own two feet.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A study published in January by the German <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/romania.fes.de\/e\/intentia-de-emigrare-a-tinerilor-din-romania-si-celelalte-tari-din-sud-estul-europei.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Friedrich Ebert Foundation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> reveals that, beyond seeking a better life and higher salaries, young Romanians are also \u201cpushed away\u201d by widespread corruption and political favoritism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Voiculescu, who left Romania at 18 to study abroad, later returned after working and studying in Austria. Before entering politics, he was active in civil society.
